Matthew 4:2, "And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry."
Fellas, if you expect to be truly successful in this season of your life, you're going to have to become comfortable with sacrificing. Every man that God has ever had to use biblically and now all had to go through something to grow out of it and they had to sacrifice something meaningful to God, whether it was a child, a job, a woman, or even their time. Many of you are enduring some tough times and others are transitioning from one season to another. Anytime you find yourself going through a test or you can't think nor hear God's voice clearly, fast and pray. Fasting simply means you take a special appointed time to not eat or drink as a sacrifice to God to pray and commune with Him for directives and breakthroughs for your life. The Bible makes it clear, some things will only come through prayer and fasting. For those who have health conditions, God is very much aware of that and many sacrifice in other ways besides food during their fasting times. Whether it be friends, relationships, certain foods you crave, etc...the bigger part is the sacrifice and doing it from your heart. Have a blessed week!
